Do you suffer from severe joint pain? Did you have an accident or injury that lead to joint and muscle pain? You might be suffering from arthritis, a condition that causes severe joint pain and is a cause of pain and suffering for many people. While some forms of arthritis may appear late on in life; there are some forms such as Rheumatoid Arthritis, that is not dependent on age, and could occur and spread rapidly at any point in life.

Scientifically, research has also proven that gentle massage helps in reducing joint pains and stiffness. However, patients suffering from arthritis should be careful about the timing of massage, and should always consult a professional before undergoing any treatment.

2Acupuncture – a traditional form of Chinese healing treatment, is the process of inserting small and thin needles at specific points in body to stimulate nerves, tissues and muscles. It is also known to improve blood flow and activate natural painkillers in the body. Acupuncture could be employed to help relieve pressure from body and there are no known side-effects to it.

3Yoga is great for relieving stress and relaxation, and it is a practice that employs meditation through body poses and deep breathing. Specific yoga practices have been designed for people suffering from arthritis to help ease the pain.

4Weight Loss is a great way to prevent and reduce several problems our bodies could suffer from. If you are someone suffering from swollen joints, then gaining weight in that situation would put more pressure on the joints, and could cause more pain. Moreover, a remedy that might have worked for one person might not work for someone else, so in order to find the best way, it is recommended to try different things and then use what works best for you, but in general you should keep a balanced nutrient rich diet and maintain your weight to prevent the pain from aggravating.
